Just to keep everybody up-to-date on the Oxnard office's container of blue granite, this is a picture of the German ship (The Monte Pascoal) that the container will be loaded onto (hopefully today) in Rio de Janeiro. Using Marinatraffic.com I can tell she is presently moored in Santos, Brazil about 211 miles South of Rio de Janeiro. Yesterday I tracked her moving up the Brazilian Coast stopping at various ports.

Once the container arrives at my fabricator I will inspect it, and then we will immediately go to work. This has held up construction completion now since June 29th.
Most likely, one slab will go for a conference table with Marina view that will be used for depositions, new client meetings, and mediations.
Again, if you a few slabs of Fantasy Blue Granite 1.25 inches thick I do believe there will be extra for trade or sale!

Walmart, Oxnard in the remodeled Centerpoint Mall. From what I could tell there were not any seasonal workers in the store. Not far away, on Gonzales Road, at Lowe's there may have been seasonal workers. Are the big box single level retailers hiring seasonal help this year?
Overall, there has been a $.09 per hour increase in wages. Many lower paying hourly jobs have also been added to the national economy. Jobs for the middle class have not been added, nor have middle class salaries experienced any great gains.

The landscape at the North End of Seabridge is forever changed. The foundation for these new condominiums was left idle for seven or more years. Now they are finally framing in these South facing units that were once a strawberry field.
