Oxnard Work Attorney
Today this particular worker learned how to paint corners. His brush strokes were excellent for a seven year-old, but when it was all over there was primer on his arms and legs. it wasn't a prevailing wage job, and it would have been a labor violation if he was not my son. That was over 10 years ago before the little F-150 was upgraded to a diesel 2500.

What do you think about that gas pipe so close to a water line? If the gas pipe wasn't 36 inches down, an employee complained, and was fired that would be wrongful termination. Ever thought about that?
For some time now yellow pipes like you see in this trench are gas lines. Gas lines, outside, should be 36 inches or more below grade. Never use a jack hammer, trencher, or heavy machinery on top of, near, or close to a gas line. Hand dig if you need to, but be very careful not to chop the gas line. Dig Alert, on another project last month, was only willing to mark the area on the street where the gas came in. They were unwilling to determine if a gas line was in back of the meter on the property.
I hand dug a new 18 inch electric trench because I was not sure if the gas line was in the area. It turned out not to be. The gas line you see here is the new gas line for the Oxnard office. Don't worry, the plumber installed it. There is some work I do not do myself.
Are you ok to hire a labor lawyer who does all this? Do you think he'd be able to ask better questions on a case involving a construction worker?
